using the staff to light your way you head over to the scraping sound to get a better idea of what's making it. unfortunately it's hard to be stealthy about light in a really dark cave so the scraping comes to a stop and you hear some kind of language you don't understand and footsteps approaching you now. you soon see a grey skinned creature with big big eyes and ears, a knife, and something wooden in its offhand. they point their knife at you and say more words but they're squinting now
