Schmaltzy is absolutely the correct word. Also, please drunk text your boyfriend so I can read over your shoulder and laugh.

[Okay well. He starts to text but instead it turns into a phone call so Natalie gets to listen to John's half of this conversation I guess. Sorry Natalie.]

I feel like I maybe shouldn't have listened to that, is all.

It's not like it's that big of a deal...is it?

Not if you think it isn't. I mean, if you aren't bothered, I'm not, it just... seemed a little personal.

Not really. That is just how we talk sometimes. Personal would be way more personal.

I guess I've just never heard you talk like that. But I guess that makes sense?

Truthfully we just recently got a little more comfortable talking to each other like that. But you won't have to listen to it again because I do not want to stay out here for much longer.

Yeah. You should probably, like, sleep or whatever. I wonder if you can get a hangover even though you didn't drink...

Probably, but luckily I am really good at handling hangovers. I mean maybe that is not that good but it is a start.

It's good in this situation, when you did nothing wrong but are probably going to be saddled with a hangover anyways. Sorry that your teammate is a dumb kid.

I can't be that mad considering I was also a dumb kid a few years ago. It's whatever, but if this keeps up I will probably tell him to knock it off at least.
