i cannot believe this is what we're doing.

[Soon though Minato receives a picture. Everything in John's dex is stupid and ranges from one of Dave's hoodies, apple juice, apple candy, a few manga, pens, a Matthew McConaughey poster with a tear in the forehead, a hammer, Vrillyhoo, Zillyhoo, Wrinklefucker, Sassacrusher, a white fedora and pipe, a scarf with teal blood smeared on it, playing cards, his wallet, his phone, a red fading and cracking heart stone, some feathers, a few now-dead snapdragons, and what looks like half a bottle of Coke.

But no body :(]

[ :( This has all been disappointing and at the same time extremely envious being able to carry around all this crap without worrying about space or weight. If I could justify P3 hammerspace somehow I would do that in a heartbeat, but all Minato has is 2-4 pockets depending on if he's wearing a jacket, and two of those are always occupied by his hands. ]

You could fit an entire grocery store in there. Never have to leave bed to go eat. Everything's kept in stasis, right? Soda's still fizzy?

we've done our grocery shopping this way before. everything stays pretty okay and in tact? i have never noticed soda going flat just by being in my sylladex. but everything stays fresh and i guess that would include living things.

When you think the word "body," do you envision a dead body or a live body?

like in the context of storing in my sylladex? a dead one...otherwise that would just be a person or an animal, right?

That's your call, not mine.
You have a body. But you're alive. Why is there a difference?

i think there is a difference because something living has its own agency and it can move and think versus a body that's kind of general.
kind of like you have a skeleton, but that does not mean you ARE a skeleton, you know?

What if I am just a skeleton wearing a meat suit.

then how do you explain things like hair and eyes?

They come as a package deal with the suit.

i am pretty sure that is not how meat suits work...

i used to be a biology student. does that count?

but also you are not a skeleton in a meat suit, you would be considered a person whether you want to be or not.

Sometimes I don't want to be a person, but I can accept that.

...if you don't want to be a person, what would you want to be instead?

It's not like I wish to be reincarnated into a cat or anything. It'd be nice to just... exist, I guess. Without affecting anything or being affected.
Actually, it might be cool to be a ghost. With or without all the death stuff.

i'm not sure i could ever deal with that, but i think i understand? just an observer without being an engager.
what do you know about ghosts?

Yeah. Dunno anything about ghosts except that some like tea, and it can get lonely. But there are also cat ghosts, so I think I could stand it.

i cannot blame them. some tea can be pretty good, and i like cats now.
a cat ghost for a fake ghost.
but what about if you ever wanted to engage? how would you do that if you were a fake-ghost?
