You're such a dumbass. [It's said semi-fondly and semi-begrudgingly as he hauls Dave up the stairs to John's room. He's pretty sure he's stuck for the day, so it's better to get settled now.

He doesn't actually get in bed, but he tries to deposit Dave on the mattress and cover him with blankets. How successful is that?]

[ there's a sort of agreeing mumble before dave's fingers hook into the hem of john's shirt, one bleary red eye opening to look at him for a second.

[Oh. Okay. He looks at him curiously, staring for a moment before he sighs to himself and shifts. He's. Pushing Dave over closer to the wall so they can both lay in bed. At least John's laptop is nearby.]

[ john can laptop away!! dave shifts onto his side and drapes his arm over john's middle and pretty much drops instantly off into sleep.

[Mistakes!! But also...that's fine. He can lay here for twelve hours and let Dave sleep while he dicks around on his laptop. Eventually he'll get bored and also fall asleep and start snoring but that's just how that's gonna go.]
