How many documentaries have you watched about Jaws? [But since he's used to this routine by now, he's walking a little ahead and craning his head back to stare at the fish above them.]

As many as exist, obviously? [ he will in fact be taking more than one. it makes him happy............... ] Or as many as I know to exist. I hope they make a Sharknado documentary someday.

[windeity]

[Things John doesn't mind: that.] What would a Sharknado documentary even consist of? How they made the movie or about the science behind potentially flying sharks? [There's a grin over his shoulder.] Do they have a shark tank here?

[parodeity]

They do. Want me to lead the way there next, or just wander? Also clearly it would involve an in-depth look at the visionary process that fought us multiple movies about a shark filled tornado. Honestly how is that not super your speed?

I like wandering, but I definitely want to see them before we leave. And that is my speed but that just means we should obviously make a documentary. How hard can it be?

[ ...dave laughs and snaps a picture. ] It's like you have a cheat sheet.

A cheat sheet to giant sharks? [Dave what do you expect from him.]

To bullshit that makes me like you. A documentary? What the fuck.

It'd be fun. Maybe that is a thing we can do in the spring?

Like I could say no to bad documentary magic. Fuck you, Egbert. [ no fire; he snaps another picture and tries not to smile. ]

Pick a subject and we'll make something awesome! It would be something to do in the summer during break, too.

A documentary about what's on the beach or something?

[parodeity]

Yeah. And about sea monsters?

[windeity]

Do you think there really are sea monsters still out there? Maybe they'll talk to us.

[parodeity]

God, probably? Like, who actually knows but I feel there could be. There were for a while there back in August or a little before I think? And of course you would want to talk to them, oh my god. [ he drops his camera back to his chest and looks at john through only the lenses of his shades instead. ] You're sickeningly photogenic.

[windeity]

I keep saying I missed everything good in August and that keeps being true. [Dave drops the camera and John's looking at a school of fish swimming overhead, counting them under his breath.] And why wouldn't I? I bet they have some interesting stuff to say.

[He looks back and grins again though.] Somehow I do not think those two thoughts really go together, Dave.

It's a thought I'm constantly having, so you can deal with it? [ nevermind. john looks at him and grins and the camera is lifted to snap a shot. ]

[windeity]

Sometimes I think you would be happiest if I let you follow me around with a camera all day. [There goes the snapshot and he laughs before he gestures for Dave to walk after him.] True or false?

[parodeity]

Throw in some hot consensual finger intertwining and I'm sold. [ hold his hand ]

Yes, obviously. [He likes holding hands...] Can you take pictures and hold my hand at the same time?

[parodeity]

If you hold my right hand? [ he holds it out expectantly. ]

[windeity]

[And he takes it...with his right hand. Which means he's walking backwards but that's okay and he flashes Dave a sunny grin before he moves onward.] We'll see.

[parodeity]

I love your smile. [ muttered under his breath. ]

[windeity]

[He watches Dave again with that same grin.] Because it is huge and stuff?
