Hmm...[He swings their hands a little while they walk and he's thinking.] I've always thought Japan would be neat. And maybe Italy. So at least we are thinking the same continents?

Which is really unfortunate since it is a neverending cycle of mockery. But I think we can handle it. [Out of the theater they go.] What do you think should be on the agenda next? Late lunch? Home?

What do you want to do next? Since I made you watch a movie, and your punishment is over. [ read: dave has no actual preference as to their next activity ]

Well...I would suggest a walk or something but we still have a giant dome blocking the sunshine. I am always up for grabbing sandwiches and just hanging out at home with you. [...] It's a little funny, I think. I mind less and less what we do as long as I get to spend time with you.

[parodeity]

... [ he just squeezes john's hand. ] Way to be a sap. But if you want a walk...well, we could do an indoor walk?

What are you thinking? Like a mall or something? [Indoor walk sounds nice though.]

[parodeity]

Not exactly. [ he catches john's hand to bring to his lips. ] Trust me?

[windeity]

[Is it possible to brighten even more than he already has? Apparently so.] Always do. I'm right behind you.

I should probably save this for another date night 'cause you'll like this but whatever. [ he takes over navigation, leading john in a different direction than "home eventually". ]

Well if I'll like it we can probably do it again, right? [He'll follow along though, keeping his fingers wrapped in Dave's and curious about where they're going.] Nothing says we cannot do repeat dates.

No, but what if I turn out to need some dramatic wooing gesture down the line and I used up my entire stockpile?

I think you just existing is a pretty dramatic wooing gesture, so you're good.

[parodeity]

Shockingly smooth. I give you a four out of ten for it. [ also, he's dragging john to the...aquarium... ] There's parts you can walk under the tanks, you know, with all the fish?

[windeity]

I'll up my game eventually. [But he recognizes the path and his eyes light up a bit.] The underwater tunnels? Those are always really cool! That's where we're going?

[parodeity]

We can walk around the rest of it too, if you want? But yeah that was the main idea. Having a sea overhead isn't like having a sky, but maybe it'll be a little better than the dome?

[windeity]

I like the ocean, you know? So...that sounds perfect to me.

[parodeity]

I know. It's one of your weirder qualities but I forgive you for it. [ he'll pay for their tickets, anyway. ]

[windeity]

I will never get what is so weird about liking the ocean. [He notices, but he just vows to make up for it later.] It's comforting.

Have you never watched a discovery channel documentary on the ocean???

Are you afraid of what's out there?
