[He immediately takes the hand and drags Dave along the beach, coming to a semi-warm, dry and sandy spot.]

Sure. [ just let him decaptchalogue a blanket and a picnic basket. ] So, how is today so far?

Calm, I think. Which is maybe the way I wanted things in the first place.

inside are two tupperwares of pasta. it's pasta caprese salad so he definitely looked up recipes, but there's like bread and drinks and stuff too? dave tried ]

You actually made food. [Look he believed him, but also. He's impressed.] I would ask "when did you find the time" but you're you.

I did it normal style. Used the kitchen while you were at class, no time travel required.

You followed a recipe and everything? That's pretty hot.

You promise? [A grin. He's also grabbing two drinks for them.] I'll be on my best behavior and everything.

I'd probably agree to it even if you were on your worst behavior.

I mean, it's apple. The one pie I ever learned to make.
